Meeting called to Order by: Bill Abernathy at 6:33pm.

Approval of Minutes:
Motion to approve July's minutes made by Evon Nuss, second by Bill Abernathy; the motion carried with an all-in favor.
Financial Reports: Evon presented Financial Report and states there are more funds in account than there was this time last year. ACC Committee Gary Petras reports he spoke with Mr. Henery. Mr. Henery sent a letter acknowledging conversation and would be addressed within 30 days. Abandoned Jet Skis Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Warden might be able to assist identifying, this process is not an overnight fix and will take months to deal with. ROADS Committee Culverts: Gary Petras reports water company regional plant operator, when available, will use jet device to clean out culverts. Bo Brown has indicated five (5) worse culverts and they are on the main road. Update Progress on Budget:: Evon presented 2017 expense report (a copy was provided to all in attendance). Evon stated this can be used to create a Budget for 2018-2019. Which will be presented after board reviews. Charging late fees & collection fees::: Late fees was discussed and agreed upon by those attended. Collection agency was also discussed. Trash fees:: POA collected $8725.94 in trash fees our cost for 2017-2018 was $9396.12. General consensus for all involved agreed to charging $120.00 for trash fee as a long-term solution. This will take effect in 2019 invoices. Completion of Road Work & Road Work Issue:: $24,000 was spent on road work this year. Morning Dove street was milled, pot holes were filled on main road, and Deer Run got an overlay. POA agrees with community to have more than one bid in the future. Insurance Renewal/ Playground Surface:We were advised by insurance company that our playground area/equipment does not meet standards, therefore, insurance will not cover. Decision is to disable the playground and sell. If playground equipment funds are collected, this will be used to revamp the playground area. Resignation of a Board Member::Gale states Bo Brown, Secretary, turned in his resignation to the Board. Upcoming Election:Evon Nuss- Treasurer; Bill Abernathy-Vice-President; & Vacant- Secretary are seats up for upcoming election. Additional:Upon reviewing report Don Fausnight feels we need more money in reserves. Expenditure are more than income. It was stated that properties are being bought through auction and that could possibly be future income. Adjourn:Evon Nuss Motion to adjourn, second Pat Fausnight; all in favor.
