Approval of Minutes:
Motion to approve April's minutes made by Evon Nuss, second by Bo Brown; the motion carried with all in favor.
Financial Reports: Evon Nuss presented financial report. ACC Committee Gary Petras- no new report. Lakeview has started work today. There is minor concrete job. ROADS Committee Committee-Bo has started marking all pot holes. Work will start in May. A preliminary estimate was discussed to for main road for the possible 2019/2020 year. Gary noticed a road appearing on Beachwood Loop E, this was created by water company, due to a sewer spill. Drainage Policy Gale has stated that a policy has been written by the Beachwood Estates Property Owner's Association in reference to drainage. Buying property or building a home is a buyer beware. Property Owner's Association WILL NOT be responsible for drainage. No policy covers drainage neither will this Association. (A printed Drainage Policy was given to board member who attended meeting) Pool Party A Pool Opening Party is set for May 25,2018. RSVP was requested to attend. Members were encouraged to bring their guest to party as well.
Speed Limit: Scott Kersh concerns about the speed limit on Lakeview being 30 m.p.h. He states 30 m.p.h. is way too fast. Gale has stated that if we reduced speed limit, the association would be unable to enforce the speed. Curve Roads: Too many vehicles parked around the curve roads is becoming hazardous to vehicles who come around the curve roads and are unable to fully view the road or oncoming traffic (whether a vehicle or a golf cart), or possibly children at play. Restriction Scott Kersh asked if there are restrictions on building in Section D. Can a garage be built before you build a house in that section was asked? Gary has answered, Yes. In Section D, yes you can. Gale states there are different restrictions for different sections. It is important for a buyer/builder to fully read their restriction before buying and/or building. Gary is more than willing to speak to anyone who may have questions about building. Camera at dumpster: Resident asked, "What can we do about the dumping?" Several community members asked if cameras can be put up in dumpster area. Furniture and other wrongful dumping as well as outside illegal dumping is a nuisance to neighbors and neighborhood. Bo reports an illegal dumper was attempting to open gate with his hands to dump garbage. Gale states putting up camera may relieve some of the illegal dumping, but not much can be done even if dumpers are caught on camera. Law Enforcement will not prosecute. Evon states since the new gate systems it has gotten better than previous times.
Adjournment Evon Nuss Motioned to Adjourn 2nd motion Bo Brown, All in favor.
