BOARD MEETING

March 16, 2020

  1. Meeting called to Order by: Mac McKinsey at 6:30pm.
  2. Welcome & Recognition of members present: Bill Abernathy, Mac Mckinsey, Pat & Don Fausnight, Evon Nuss, Tolbert Moore, James Powell, Gary & Susann Petras, Theresa Lynch, Scott Kersh, Roger & Barbara DeCapua, Elvia Lujan, Mike & Brenda Dupree
  3. Approval of Minutes:
    Motion to approve February's minutes made by Pat Fausnight, second by Tolbert Moore; the motion carried with an all-in favor.
  4. Financials:: Pat presented Financial Report
  5. Committee Reports:
    • ACC Committee - Gary Petras one permit discussed. Gary discussed process of Permit Application & requirements: Fill out Application & submit drawings. If you do not know if a permit is needed feel free to reach out to Gary.
    • RoadsDon reports Channelview is completed. Decker Hudgins used his own personal equipment to take out a 30' drainage pipe on Morning Dove. Morning Dove is completed. Weather is a factor for all other uncompleted roads.
    • Playground: Board has given Scott permission to move forward with a playground found online and make offer.
  6. Retaining Wall-Tolbert reports that Barrett is booked up for months but did recommend adding asphalts and packing retaining wall with clay and not sand. Sand will keep dissolving.
  7. Sidewalk at clubhouse - Sidewalk can be done by a concrete company.
  8. General Comments
    • Drainage: Theresa expressed the need for drainage on lots that are not cared for by owners who do not have a home on their lots. Pat understands the issue, but reports that this issue has come up in the past and that is something each owner is responsible for.
    • Leveling: Pat has said Shane Newlin has equipment to level off playground and has expressed that he would be willing to help if needed.
    • Meeting for next: Evon reports that with the new changes and restrictions of having meetings, next month's meeting may be cancelled. Decision will be made continue news update and email will be sent.
