Approval of Minutes:
Motion to approve January's minutes made by Mac McKinsey, second by Pat Fausnight; the motion carried with an all-in favor.
Financials: None presented.
ACC Committee Gary Petras submitted:
Documents for two (2) bids for retaining wall & piers. Anytime Marine will be doing both piers and retaining wall he spoke with Mr. Henery. Mr. Henery sent a letter acknowledging conversation and would be addressed within 30 days.
ROADS Committee Nothing new to report. Playground Committee:: Notes were presented at meeting. Timeline, timeframe and location is still being discussed. Insurance & Workers Comp: Everyone contracted by Beachwood will need to have their own workers Comp (Landscaper, Pool Maintenance, Property Manager, Etc.) Volunteers however are covered under Beachwood's insurance incase damage is caused by a volunteer. Gale will look into waivers for contractors. Statements:Explanation of Statement vs. Invoices was given. Statement can go 4 years back. Invoices only show current year owing. Statements will be issued this year to all owners. Trash Fees: Initially Trash Fees was raised to 120, but because of the difficulty it will be to track those ending in a zero-trash fees have change to one hundred eighteen dollars ($118.00) and D-Section has changed to fifty-eightdollars ($58.00)
Motion to reduce trash fee by two dollars ($2.00) made by Bill Abernathy, second by Pat Fausnight; the motion carried with an all-in favor.
Clubhouse FeesFloor was given opportunity to give their opinions about clubhouse fee. Attending owner suggested $75.00 fee for rental of clubhouse. Owners whom attended meeting were in agreement with the new fees. Effective immediately as of February 18, 2019 clubhouse fees will be raised with the exception of those that have already rented prior to this meeting date of February 18, 2019. Clubhouse deposit will be $150.00 with no return of any amount should someone have to clean after your event. Rental fee is now $75.00.
Motion to raise clubhouse fees effective immediately. Deposit will now be one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) and Rental fee of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) made by Mac McKinsey, second by Pat Fausnight; the motion carried with an all-in favor.
Set Volunteer Date for needed Items:Volunteer Day is set for April 27, 2019 at 8:00am. Those unable to attend feel free to donate waters and/or party trays for our volunteers. POA will provide lunch. Hunting on Beachwood Property:Complaints to Game Warden have been made with hunters hunting in Beachwood Community. WE ADVISE NO HUNTING IN COMMON AREAS AT ANY TIME.
Section D Lighting: Connie has expressed that Section D needs more lighting. Her mom is currently living in that section and expresses that it is dark in that area. POA will see about cost. Speed Limit:Connie worries that the speed limit is too high for her neighborhood. She voiced that speed limit should be reduced to 15M.P.H. She will contact commissioner to see what can be done and relay message to POA to help with the situation. Pool Maintenance: Debbie asked if pool position is open. Bill Abernathy will revise job description and post on email for those interested to apply. Water Company Tim Conrad asked about water company putting above ground pipes around his area. He will be redoing his dock and expressed his opinion about their dissatisfaction.
