BOARD MEETING

MINUTES

In Attendance::

Board Members Mac McKinsey, Pat Fausnight, Bill Abernathy and Tolbert Moore. Absent, Evon Nuss.

Committee Members: Gary Petras and Jerry Nicholls

President Mac McKinsey called the meeting to order at 6:32 pm and requested that all in attendance introduce themselves.

Tolbert Moore made a motion to approve the minutes of the January 2020 Board of Directors Meeting. Bill Abernathy seconded the motion and all were in favor.

Gary Petras reported that 260 Lakeview has applied for a concrete permit. Gary also reported that the new construction at the Landrith home on Lakeview is on-going. Tolbert requested that Gary relay the need for better inspection of the surrounding areas of the new construction for nails. Tolbert has had 2 recent flat tires.

Jerry reported that equipment has been delivered for the road project and it will be stored on Morning Dove Road. Other equipment will be stored on Channel view.

Pat Fausnight reported that the website has been down, but it is now operating properly. Unapproved minutes will be posted shortly after meetings and kept on the site for 2 years. All minutes will remain in Beachwood files permanently. Annual Meeting minutes will be posted and left for 5 years.

Pat also reported that the directory will continue to be provided on a monthly basis when meeting notification is sent by email.

Pat discussed the annual work day which allows homeowners to assist with a clean-up of common areas, clubroom and entry. It was decided that May 9, 2020 will be the date set for the work day with May 16 th being the day set if bad weather is a factor on May 9 th .

Pat reported that Property Manager Elvia Lujan is now a Notary and will provide the service for owners and Beachwood business. This service will be provided at Elvia’s convenience and only when owners are willing to meet at the clubroom. It was determined that this service would be a great benefit for Beachwood and owners.

Mac reported that he would like to get some new reflectors for the PVC pipe at the entry. Tolbert volunteered to get the tape.

Janie Murray asked about the rule regarding dirt bikes and it was determined that they are not allowed on Beachwood Streets. A rule was filed with the County Commissioners office and it will be enforced by the County of Henderson if owners call them if it becomes a nuisance. The Board of Directors will not be policing this issue and it was determined that it is each owners responsibility to report.

The subject of bar ditches was discussed and it was determined that each owner is responsible for the drainage and upkeep on the bar ditches in front of their property/lot.

It was determined that new signs will be purchased for the dumpster area.

Bill Abernathy made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 pm. Pat Fausnight seconded the motion and all were in favor.
